Just a heads-up on today's surplus auction: First off, it opens at 2 p.m. at the former MES, 107 E. Monroe St. Items included in the sale will be found on the first floor. (Please be aware there are MANY more items that were not included on the BCS Auction Page such as stoves, dishwashers and an organ.) Come over and take a look!
Secondly, if you plan to bid on a unique, one of a kind item, there will be bid slips and tickets with each item. Simply write your bid on the form and place it into that item's envelope. The bids will be opened at the end of the auction today. Winners will be notified and asked to pick up their item(s) on Thursday, between 2 and 6 p.m.
Items not included in the closed bid process (chairs, student desks, file cabinets, tables, etc.,) will be sold as cash and carry. Once paid for, those items can be picked up today or set aside and picked up tomorrow from 2 to 6 p.m., if necessary.
*In regards to the wood-working equipment, these items were recently working. Electricity constraints will not allow for the equipment to be turned on or to be tried out. This equipment is being sold AS IS.
Lastly, don't forget we have books for free! If there are young readers in your family, this is a great opportunity to grab some free books!
