Northside families don't forget Friday is sponge toss day! The 6 staff members that you can toss a sponge at are: Mr. Campbell, Mrs. Pease, Miss Carter, Mrs. Thomas, Mrs. Thurman & Ms. Pauley! 50 cents per toss! Class bringing in the most $$ gets to dump a bucket of water on Mr. Campbell and Ms. Pauley!!! All $$ raised will be used to buy more recess supplies for next year.
Just a friendly reminder about tonight's Band and Choir Concert at BJSHS. The music kicks off at 6 p.m. in the gym.
According to Mr. Uggen, who snapped the accompanying photo, the group practicing sounded great!
Come out and support our talented Bruin musicians!
To end the year, students in Mrs. Cristi Aulbach at BIS celebrated with Camp Read-a-Lot. Students walked into the room to find the classroom transformed into a camping retreat. Desks were transformed into tents and into camps. We read in the dark with finger flashlights, did group activities that were camping themed in both reading and math , and enjoyed s'mores. Students told Mrs. Aulbach that this was the best day ever!
What a fun way to start the day! First graders in Mrs. Rachael Shadiow's class at Montpelier Elementary loved playing find the sight word with water balloons this morning! Sunshine, friends, and water balloons! What more could you ask for?
