More snowy fun was had in Mrs. Katie Barnes' Kindergarten class at MES. Students have been studying arctic animals and snow and after some experimenting with conditioner and baking soda, created snow!

Montpelier's Kinders are getting a jump on this weekend's predicted snow! According to their teacher, Mrs. Jessica Barker, students have been learning about arctic animals and snow. To end their unit, they did a science experiment to create their very own snow!

In today's lesson for our Northside Elementary's blended learning students out due to Covid procedures, Mrs. Keli Penrod, an Instructional Assistant in Mrs. Cissy Clock's Kindergarten class, helps students stay engaged while working on sight words.

MES first graders in Mrs. Rachael Shadiow's class have been talking about shapes and their properties. During snack, they figured out which shape (cracker) was being described by the pirate clue before they could eat! Who knew learning about shapes could be so fun and yummy!
