IU Health Blackford has announced a Vaccine Clinic for BJSHS students over age 16 and BCS staff members to receive the Covid-19 vaccine this Saturday, April 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the BJSHS JROTC Center. To participate in the clinic, the student must have parental consent that includes a parent/guardian present during the Saturday morning clinic.
The vaccine clinic site is now open for business on the ourshot.in.gov. Find Blackford County on the website. You will be prompted to enter a zip code. Once you do that, it will list the clinic sites in the order of open spots. The site name for this clinic is IU Health Blackford Co HS PVAX, (it is the 3rd one down the list), and the available date is April 24.
Vaccinations are not required by BCS, and participation is optional.
