BCS Parents and Community,
As the school year has now come to an end, I wanted to take a moment to thank you for your support and patience throughout this year. I am very grateful for the efforts on everyone’s part to make this a very successful year in the most challenging of circumstances.
I would also like to thank our great team at BCS for their extraordinary efforts throughout the year. This year required every member of our faculty and staff to rethink the way we worked, and I could not be more proud of the outcome.
BCS would like to recognize our 2021-2022 retirees and thank them for their service. They include Connie Hidy, Health and PE teacher at BJSHS, with 36 years of service; Steve Rinker, Manufacturing and Industrial Technology teacher at BJSHS, who has 8 years of teaching service with BCS; Nancy Johnson, the former ECA secretary who has held numerous titles in numerous buildings during her 26 years of service; and lastly, Dr. Kevin Biddle, who joined BCS in 2011 as the principal of Northside Elementary and has since served as the principal of Blackford Intermediate School. We appreciate the time, energy, and dedication each of these individuals has brought to BCS during their service.
We have a busy summer at BCS with summer school and Jump Start Kindergarten. Online registration is now open for next school year, and we will provide more details about next school year as the summer progresses.
I want to wish you all a safe, and relaxing summer! Go Bruins!
Sincerely,
Chad Yencer
Superintendent
